I have 2FA setup for my MS Account and then all of a sudden when I try to login to my MS Account using my Password it gives me this message below.
I have other ways to sign in like Windows Hello, and MS Auth app and Passkey, but I tried to login using my password but instead of using my MS Auth Verification codes, it just spits out this message.
My question is, is my password compromised or is this just a lockout measure to ensure security?
I ALWAYS had used 2FA whether its Windows Hello, a Passkey, or MS Auth app Verification codes.
Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in. For more details, please see this link
Seems it's not just me. I also told my Mom to check and test her MS Account to check email and she is getting the same error using her Android tablet. Using Chrome.
