Network Permission

When I had 2 laptops win 10 + 11 I could access my media files on my WDTV Live media player by selecting 'Network' in File Explorer. Now I have 2x win 11 laptops access has been stopped, can you help please?

First check netword is set to Private on both laptops, to allow you access to shared resources. Then check sharing settings on the shared folder, make sure you give access to the account you want. If you don't mind, you can add the "Everyone" entry and give full access there, so you can also connect as Guest. Then check the Security settings on the shared folder. Make sure you give full access to the account you want, or add "Everyone" and give it full access to connect as Guest. If you don't see the other computer at the Network window, try using its name, like \\computername or its IP address like \\192.168.xx.xx and see if you can access it like that. If you can but you still cannot see it in Network, check the Services. There is a specific service (don't remember which) that advertises resources on the network. If this service is not running, the computer is there, you can access it by its name or IP, but it doesn't show in Network.

I tried to repeat the Device Manager Network adapters. When I was on 'Private', I only got 2 entrys. On 'Public' I got as in my image. Now. I get as in my image on either setting.
