Network Shares lost after change from internal WiFi card to WiFi Dongle

Hi Guys,

Can you help please.

Laptop internal WiFi card broken. Changed to USB WiFi Dongle which works great.

However all the network shared folders on the laptop are no longer visible to the other PCs on the network.
I have pinged the laptop and that was fine.
All the shared folders are still correctly shared as before the change.
Basically nothing has changed except for the new WiFi Dongle.

This laptop can still access all the other PCs on the network.

Any suggestion please?

Check WIFI dongle in Device manager and it's properties for sharing

Yes, latest drivers installed, and everything on all the others tabs seems fine.

I just am not sure if anything under the advanced tab should be changed.

Well I have connected the laptop by ethernet and the problem is still there, si it is not the dongle.

I will create a new thread for better describing the problem.
