New Outlook.

Hi Folks, I have my main gmail account in Outlook.
I also have an outlook.com and a hotmail.com accounts. Both these accounts are Forwarded to the Gmail account
If I reply to either email sent to hot or outlook accounts, It gets sent from the Gmail account.
This happens if the reply is sent from Outlook or Gmail.
How do I set it to reply to the sender using the address it was sent to?

When I find it.
In outlook when you create a new email, there's an "options" menu item up top of hte new email.
Under options, you'll find a "from" button that allows you to chose a "from" email - the default or enter another in a popup box!

In "New Outlook"

New Email > To the right of the Send button is > From: a downward chevron V lists the Accounts set up in New Outlook. You can choose one of those.
However as you have set up Gmail as a client they may/may not show up there.

I would rationalise to using "New Outlook" for each Account (Gmail, Outlook+Hotmail), rather than all that complication, with Hotmail as a folder under your Outlook mail Address.

Discontinue forwarding and add the outlook.com and Hotmail accounts to Outlook.

Hi Ben, I have tried disabling forwarding but never replaced outlook and hotmail accounts.
I just retested new outlook after stopping sorting Focused & Other and it almost worked.
I got notified of an email to my hotmail account but on trying to reply, it was using my gmail account and not my hotmail account.

When I find it.
Start Outlook, click "File" at the top, then click "Account info", then "Add Account" at the right and enter the information for the hotmail account. Repeat this for the outlook.com account. Then discontinue the forwarding.

Posts #3, #5, #7 all say setup/add your Email accounts on "New Outlook" > "Add account".

i.e. Gmail, Outlook Mail, Hotmail.

That also means stopping forwarding to Gmail.

The drop down From list to the right of the Send button will then show those 3 Accounts to send from.
