Windows11
I bought a pc with no o/s,i have two drives that work/boot on my current pc w10 + w11,i instaleld one at a time both wont boot,i get as far as the windows log then it stalls. Ive made a usb bootable via windows, didnt work,i used an iso didnt work?
The bios see all the drives ive had and it sees the usb.
I also installed a graphics card before booting up,would it make any difference if i took it back out and tried to boot up?
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Does the new PC possibly have UEFI vs BIOS, you may have to do a repair install.

It has UEFI and Legacy it can be set for either or both, currently its set for both.

What is the Make and Model# of the computer or motherboard?
Where did you get the ISO image? How did you burn it to the USB Flash drive?
Did you download it from Microsoft?
Did you burn it with the Media Creation Tool? Or Rufus?

When you put the Windows installer into the computer, restart and Press F12 for a one time boot menu,
unless this is an HP computer, you then would press F9. Select the flash drive and it would boot of the Windows installer Flash Drive.
If that doesn't work, try to boot another computer with the drive, if that doesn't work, then you did not burn it correctly.

Sounds like some sort of issue with a device or hardware. This can happen for example because of a defective boot drive installed in the PC.

Hi
6th gen processor?

Everything I read doing a search says it isn't supported for Win 11. May have to install older version and/or do some of the workarounds that have been discussed here.

Windows 10 is supported until October 2025. Microsoft may offer Paid support after that date.
Either way, Windows 10 will not stop working after 2025 you can continue to use it, but it will be come a security risk after that with no new updates.
