No microphone input in W11 VM on HyperV.

Windows 11 Pro + Win11 Canary VM.
I get microphone input fine on W10 VMs in HyperV, but W11 VM says no microphone installed.

I cannot see any option in device manager to add a microphone.
using pc microphone (not an external one).

Sound is working fine - any ideas?

Mic is off (Do not record) by default in Hyper-V Remote Audio Settings. Have you checked that it is turned on (Record from this computer)?

Thank you my friend, this was the solution. So obvious in hindsight - lol. It is a bit crazy the default is off - not intuitive.'
