Solved No Sound, Missing Audio Drivers in Device Manager (AceMagic Laptop)

Problem Description
I have no sound on my laptop. The speaker icon on the taskbar shows a cross, and when I click it, the volume slider is greyed out. When I check Device Manager, there are no audio, sound, or game controllers listed.

Steps Taken
I have already tried performing a Windows update, but this did not resolve the issue. I also checked the AceMagic website for support, but it was not helpful.

Additional Information
I am currently waiting to live chat with AceMagic support via WhatsApp. I can attach a screenshot of my Device Manager for anyone who can help me find a way to add the missing audio and sound drivers.

Hi ever body it as been a long while since I ask for help. I bought a 18.5 inch laptop a week ago . i was loading my stuff onto it. I borrowed a copy from a friend of MS office 365. during the install a message came up warning corupt file stop virus check

In that the Device Manager shows no Audio Inputs and Outputs section. (post #11).

Make sure there are no optional windows driver updates in Windows Update. settings>windows update>advanced options> optional updates

Once you find the laptop at the bottom of the page, AX18 you indicated, click download and unzip the file.

Then you should be able to go into device manager, right click your audio device, choose browse my computer for drivers, and point it to the folder you unzipped in your downloads folder. It should then find it and you should be good to go.

Hi thanks for your post have tried that link. It shows loads of drivers but no audio driver the two drivers I need are audio input and output, sound and game controllers they are not listed there
