Solved Not able to create Rescue USB using MR Free v8.0.7783

Whenever I update MR, I create new Rescue USB -- and that has worked for years and years now.

But recently, I updated a free version to 8.0.7783 and when I do the Rescue Media builder, I get the following:
Code: 
Failed to gemerate WinPE WIM:
Failed to create the staging area.

I have an older USB stick that still works, but am upset that this latest version errors out.

Format the USB stick as FAT32, then go here and follow the directions exactly...

I've also had a multitude of problems / issues in creating MR Rescue Media. I offer 2 solutions -

Method 1

Use Windows RE as the your base WIM to generate your bootable rescue USB drive

Create a MR Rescue .ISO using this option and create a bootable usb drive using Rufus

I should have mentioned that it's an old MBR desktop, so I didn't think it would be affected by that issue.

But, I will give this a try and post back with the results.

OK, went through the steps, created the USB stick -- and it works!!

All I know, is that bootable PE media needs new Win 11 ADK files, or they won't boot.
That's what steps 1, 2, and 3 do, in Macrium Reflect for Win 11 PE Rescue Media.
