Solved Num Lock turns on and off every other key press of number pad!

Hi,

Weird one here that doesn't seem to match any existing thread..

I have a Dell all in one and a Dell keyboard with no Num Lock key - never been a problem as I leave it switched on all the time from BIOS boot....

Recently I had trouble typing numbers and put it down to low battery in the keyboard... changed batteries - still the same....

Numbers on the top row work fine, it's just the number pas..... anyway a bit of investigation later (and with the on-screen keyboard showing) I can see that every press of a number on the pad the num lock switches off (and the number types), next press the key does the arrow action etc and the numlock them turns on again, then next press back to a number, and so on!

It's REALLY annoying, and I can't find any way to stop i doing it. Tried removing the device etc, then reinstalling. Tried updating driver (no new ones). Tried batteries.... it was abosolutely fine up until a few days ago... sigh.

OK just had an update to build 22504.1000 and they are back to normal so marking this as solved!

Hey, Yeah this was an issue in previous builds but was raised through the feedback hub, They have now fixed it in the most recent DEV build.
Caps lock lights, Num lock, Gaming mode, Micro etc all stopped working for me, The keys still worked as always but just not the lights, All sorted now though im glad :)
