Phone Open Phone Screen in Phone Link app on Windows 11 PC

I have Phone Link working on several PC's. It works great. Audio works with phone calls but not with apps when I run them from Phone Link. The apps runs on the PC but audio still comes out on the phone. With a lot of searching on the net I found out I needed to install a Bluetooth Audio Receiver. I downloaded and installed the one I found in the Microsoft Store. Once it is connected to the phone the apps audio starts coming out of the PC speakers.

Sweet! I'l have to re-install Phone Link and give this a try.

Long time lurker, it is important to note that this only works with samsungs and microsoft duos, ur welcome :))

PS: I tried it, and it didn't do much. Namely, if the screen lags at the rate that it's lagging, it is quicker, or at least more practical, to pick up the phone instead or 'glue' it next to the screen with a Chinese clipper from Amazon. It's a very peculiar feature in its current state, remained unchanged from back when the "Phone Link" app was "Your Phone". For instance, when it's running, the phone's screen can't be used simultaneously, and while it's running on the computer, the phone gets really hot really quickly, making the screen progressively laggier at that. I believe Parsec might be on to something, but I haven't tested it yet cause I got too discouraged with all the prior ones.

I find Phone Link useful because I have a Samsung phone. Besides photos and screenshots I also use it a lot to see text messages without having to grab my phone. For example, lately I have been getting a lot of text messages with codes to verify account logins. Phone Link can do a lot more than that but those mentioned are the most useful for me.

Not discussed elsewhere I have found that photos and screenshots drag-and-dropped using Phone Link are compressed versions of the original. Usually that is not important because normally we don't need the high resolution of these photos.

For those that don't have a supported phone might consider MyPhoneExplorer. It can also be used to make USB, WiFi, and Bluetooth connections to your Android phone.
