Win 11 x 64 Home on PC . Pro Win 11 x 64 on Surface 9.
In the last couple of hours Opera has sent down and installed 'New Opera'. They have succeeded in removing all my shortcuts (Speed Dial), all my passwords and all saved links. I now have a brand new virgin damn browser.

I am now in the process of changing to Firefox but have a couple of questions.

How do I get Firefox to open their ver of Speed Dial which my wife and I used a lot. There seems to be no link to their shortcuts page? I have been messing about in settings for a half hour and cant seem to find a switch. FIXED

A prob I had with opera, now with FF. Removing tabs on top of a current page?

Hi ghot, i seem to have fixed the 'speed dial' option. it works on my wife desktop and mine. I'll have a look at your link now. I did note one thing just now. I closed FF and the tabs remained in my taskbar. Will do another search shortly. Thanks for the link, I have bookmarked it so I can follow it - slowly.

In Firefox, check the Tools > Settings > General tab ...for settings like that.
You can also type: about:preferences in the address bar to open the Settings page in Firefox.

Just FYI, here's a list of the various Firefox about: commands...

Firefox is seriously tweakable. It has many tweaks built in, and with a Chrome folder/userChrome.css file... you can do just about anything. @das10 is pretty good at the custom userChrome.css file usage.
