Opera GX Keeps Deleting itself

My Opera Gx Keeps on deleting itself and i cant find the reason why. I have turned of my AVG Antivirus checked if CCleaner was an antivirus. and disabled my firewal completly by cmd
Im on an system administrator runned computer and some stuff it controlled by IT. If you know my past situation, im not on a school pc!
I Need Help and i hate using edge so much that i wanna go back to it!

Even If i open it as an administrator. it still acts like a baby wanting to drink bleach.

It takes about 11 seconds till it goes off.

A group policy (GPO) is configured to uninstall or block certain applications.
Security software (like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Symantec, CrowdStrike, etc.) detects Opera GX as unnecessary or potentially risky and auto-removes it.

i find it kinda weird. i had opera gx for almost a week and now its perhaps getting detected my microsoft

I would ask IT if it’s been removed from their allowed software list.

even if i try to open it windows security i get this screen. and its the same thing with the firewall

do you know how to get rid of this

It has been confirmed that some antivirus/utility software that is trying to keep up to date the apps installed on the host system may mistakenly install Opera Desktop on top of Opera GX. Proper actions has been taken to prevent such situations in a future but for now it is recommended to configure any AV software to exclude Opera from such updates.

If Opera GX has already been overwritten by Opera Desktop, please do as follows:

delete any version subfolder from the Opera GX installation directory (you can see example of them on the image attached above)
download and install new copy of Opera GX and install it in that same place as previously. The user data is in most cases kept outside of Opera's program files so you should be able to recover the GX installation completely to the state from before the overwrite.

OK then. The first thing I would do (Not sure how others would tackle this) is to use this tutorial to reset your Group Policies. Unless you can tell us why your PC is managed by IT?

Depends on what you’ve done with regedit? One should keep track oif whatever they mess with.

How does it have all those tabs pre opened? As soon as it starts, close those tabs, close Opera, reopen Opera. See what happens.

Do it before it crashes.

Or install it, remove it and any traces of it (Registry and all) using Revo Free, then reinstall it.

Find out where it keeps your Opera Data, delete that folder if Revo doesn’t
