Solved Outlook 365 reading pane has switched to tiny font

While typing an email I must have accidentally pressed a key combination that switched the font on the reading pane from the usual size to a very small unreadable size. All the text in other panes is unchanged and are as I would expect.
The reading pane text is normal size for incoming mail. For outgoing mail, the font is unreadable on my PC but what is sent is the font selected - eg Courier 10 is sent and received as Courier 10. Email address and subject boxes display correctly. I have tried all the ways of changing display font size without success. All other apps are unchanged. Only Outlook affected and only the reading pane.

Is this with any new email that you try to write? Also, is this persisting after closing Outlook and then restarting it again (make sure to close it from the system tray, if the outlook icon is there as well).

It is tiny with any new email I start and persists after closing it and a cold reboot.

Have you tried clicking on the pane and then pressing down the CTRL key and rolling your mouse wheel?

If you want, you can also go to the Format Text tab at the top of a new message window, and there should be a Zoom section near the end - when you click on it, you should get this dialog box:

- That must have been what i did accidentally in the first place!
