outlook in win 365 contacts issue

I figure this is happening after updates. Last time "People" was empty, but contacts were available when using BCC etc.

This time "People" is fully populated but there are no contacts available when using Bcc or anything else. Couple showing up under favorites. I don't know how to get them back when sending. Very odd to me.

That was the older versions of New Outlook for Windows. Fixed in the release from about two weeks ago.

This time "People" is fully populated but there are no contacts available when using Bcc or anything else.

When you put your cursor in the "To" field, no "Suggested contacts" at all?
What do you see if you click on the "To" button?

If I click on the TO button no contacts; if I click on the line, I see a few favorites. Click on PEOPLE and they are all there. Did do a re-boot; also, outlook has been working fine for a couple of months until now.

just more info; fired up the old laptop and ran all its updates and it does the same as pc.

I was seeing the same problem in New Outlook for Windows using a Microsoft account. Removing the account then adding it back seems to have fixed it. I have no idea why.

If this is a Microsoft account, do you see the same problem using Outlook Web?

Created a new outlook net account; logged in and the same issue exactly exists !!

Sorry. I'm stumped. All I can suggest is:

Microsoft Support
- From the main menu: Help -> ? Help
- {This should open the Help side panel}
- Search Help = {Your problem} and press Enter
- Still need help? [Yes]
- If you get "We're here to help": Tell us your problem = {Your problem, again} [Get Help]
- [Sign In] {Use any Outlook/Microsoft account}
- Choose a support option -> Chat with a support agent in your web browser

Tried contacting Microsoft CA support this morning and all systems seem to be down. Likely due to so many customers calling in with issues.

Two Apple friends have contacted me as another one of our group has asked for help with the same issue with Outlook Classic. Surprising that there is not more in here on the topic.

I apologize, I forgot to update this thread. This is a known bug. At least for New Outlook for Windows and Outlook Web I have not seen any confirmed reports of the problem in Classic Outlook.

If so, it's a known bug. I and other users have been seeing this problem on-and-off over the last few weeks. Outlook Web and New Outlook for windows. It just seems to come and go at random. Nothing official from Microsoft (that I have seen). Nothing you can do to fix it from your end.

Sent an email out yesterday and low and behold, contacts re-populated right before my eyes. Go figure. Will check the laptop later this morning. Thanks to everyone for the input.
