Outlook suddenly not seeing Google Contacts

I use Outlook in Office Professional Plus 2021 for my emails but quite suddenly it is not seeing my Gmail Contacts. Does this ring any bells here?

I have never heard any bells ringing for anything Office related. :zany:

What have you tried to remedy the issue?
- Restart Outlook?
- Restart PC?
- Disconnect from the Google Account?
- Delete the faulty account and reconnect?
- Try another device if possible.

I have no issue with my Google contacts in MSO 2024.

Seems this is only happening when I use NewOutlook, which I'm quite happy not to do. Oddly though the NewOutlook option now seems to have disappeared from my Outlook?:confused:

I have another older computer- will have to see what the position is on that.

On the other, much older computer now, no New Outlook option and all my contacts showing normally. No idea what all that was about but at least Outlook is behaving normally again - for time being at least.

You can have both Outlook & 'New' Outlook coexist.
Just create shortcuts and choose either one.

In the new Outlook, select Help, Go to Classic Outlook.
Actually both versions can even run at the same time.
