Hi. In word when I used to click on paste special, I got 2 columbs of radio buttons.

The main problem with that was, they should have been tick boxes allowing the user to pick more paste options not a single option.

Now it has all changed. WhenI click on paste special (Office 2021 home), Iget this [attached]

As I have no Office 2021, I have no answer.
But the very tiny picture you posted I could enlarge in such a way, that people at least can guess what's what you get on your screen.
Next time please post an screenshot that is larger in than 263x177 pixels. Seems to me you posted a thumbnail in stead of the real screenshot.

The closest I have to hand is Word 2013, but that seems to be the way it works too

. A right-click in the document Brings up a choice of appropriate paste buttons for what's in the clipboard, image or text. Clicking the Paste icon shows the same buttons, along with Paste special which opens the same dialog box as in your screenshot.

When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

I have Office 2021. What the options are for Paste Special depends upon what is copied into the clipboard. The clipboard could the Word clipboard or the Windows clipboard. Here are some examples with Word 2021:

The only case I can find that comes close to your description is not in Word. It is in Excel, and then only when pasting copied Excel cells.
