Hello,

I am copying files from my iPhone to my computer (windows 11). I have it so that the files are copied from the iPhone to a folder in documents, then copying those files in the documents to a usb drive. However, when copying the files from the phone to the documents folder, sometimes it works, but other times it stops halfway.

When the transfer stops, it leaves the file size as 1KB. What should be a 10 minute task is now turning into multiple hours long. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Install a 3rd party app like
This will aid in keeping the transfer connected.
Using this, if the transfer stalls or fails, you start it again and TeraCopy will continue where it left off and not have to start from the beginning..
When this is successful, you can avoid the middle step and copy from the phone directly to your USB Drive.

Hello!

I installed TeraCopy and started copying as simple as 4 files. I added them into TeraCopy, then clicked Copy and clicked my usb drive. However, when I did this it said: Error openeing source file. The system cannot find the file specified. Code: 2.

How do i fix this??

Sometimes with Teracopy, you need to change the Hash# setting. The default setting is xxHash3-64 (which I note is the setting in your image above) which I find frequently causes files to fail

I revert to the old MD5 which seems to work for everything

Open Teracopy
Options (a row of menu items about half-way down the window) > Hash (click for pulldown options) > select MD5 > Save as default

Has it worked before, or is this a first try?

I have a feeling this is developing into a Windows -vs- Apple thing ......

The error is that the the system cannot find the file specified or it is corrupted.
Make sure you can open the file on the iPhone

Installing iTunes for Windows will allow you to transfer music and pictures easier

Try to uninstall and install driver on hardware manager and clean old drivers when do that. Check cable connection if is this method. Is possible to ozon on stick but don't clean this screw-drive, mabey wire in cable are breaked.
