Hi fols
Whether on L.A.M.P or W.A.M.P for administering MySql DB's (or MariaDB's) How do I stop the login screen from inserting the default password if I know the "User ID"

e.g :

I'd like the password field to be always blank.

Otherwise if they can "Get in" they then have all "The keys of the kingdom". Same GUI Windows or Linux.

With this sort of access -- Well most of us on these boards don't need any explanation of "what could happen" if an "Uninvited Guest" logs on.

@jimbo45 it's possible the login credentials are stored in your browser's password management in your browser's settings or autofill has them saved. Depending on your browser, try opening the settings menu and look for autofill options and the option to save passwords. You would need to delete the autofill entry and passwords/login saved info for phpmyadmin and tell it not to ask to save password or autofill for that url.

Could be created by php, see if it's in settings for something like "remember me" or similar
