Microsoft Edge supports the picture-in-picture playback of web videos. I see this option in the list when I right-click on a YouTube video and use it to keep my baby son busy while working in the background. But I don't see the PiP option when I right-click on other sites, such as when I want to play my favourite series in a window while working in the background. If I open the same sites in Firefox, I can see a small icon to invoke PiP playback, but not in Microsoft Edge. I read that I have to go to Site Permissions to enable it, but the entry is missing! I have the same issue both in my main PC (see 2nd system specs) and on my Windows 10 laptop. Both running the standard version, updated to the latest. I was able to add an extension to use PiP, but I remember earlier versions had it enabled by default. Why this feature is removed from newer versions? Can I add it back (without using third-party extension) ?
