A small plane made a safe emergency landing at a Colorado airport using Garmin’s Autoland system, which takes control if the pilot becomes incapacitated.
Interesting. A few years ago I was flying & got to look at the cockpit to see all the computerized controls. I asked the pilots if the computer could land a plane yet. They told me the computer could actually land the plane better then they could in most instances, but because people would get nervous if they knew that, all takeoffs/landings were done manually.
