I took the plunge and upgraded to Win 11 and really like it. I by passed the CPU requirement and installed over a very sound copy of win 10. Only had to grant a few permissions and now have zero errors logging in event viewer. My old copies of Office 97 and Money 99 are working faultlessly. No phantom folders in sys32 and most amazingly my Brother Printer HL 2140 worked straightaway! Have been receiving updates despite not meeting specs for CPU. Could be my imagination but graphics seem a little better than win 10 and system seems a little bit more responsive. Updated from USB within win 10 using setup file.
Note I did a test setup on an old hardrive prior to the SSD and it was painfully slow plus install deleted Office 97 and printer did not work initially, no issues on SSD install.
