Naaw.. she's the one who keeps dragging me upstairs to eat and pretend to be a normie. Sometimes I try to keep her in the basement but with 4 females in the house I find I'm outnumbered so I capitulate.

Yeah good effort, some people just have that in them. Keep on keeping on. I have a mate who is a carpenter, carrying 7 full lengths of merbau decking planks on his shoulder up my hill to the back yard, many times over. I just managed 2. Heaviest wood I have ever picked up. He is 75. He was 74 when he built my back patio.

Kudos to your friend at that age. Impressive. Again in your friends mind I have no doubt. Age Is Just A Number. We "as in people like us" will just keep going until the eventual end. And that no one can escape. But until that time. That is not in our mind.

He always said he’ll work til he dies, he knows nothing else. Also, it keeps him sober which is important to him. I dare say when or if his body says “no more” a state of depression will set in.
