I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 1996 with diff locks .. so i know first hand they are fun when the road ends and the fun begins . 😅

I was just a few years before you. I was pumping gas at a Phillips 66 gas station making $1.60 an hour. Nixon implemented a wage & price freeze before leaving office. It was the last year of the draft. My draft number was like 306 and they only drafted to number 74 as I recall. I wanted to go into the Army but the recruiter kept asking me what drugs I was using (which was none) so that turned me off from the Army. Close to the Army recruiter was a Coast Guard recruiter. I met with Coast Guard recruiter and signed up for the Coast Guard.
