Hello
I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a week ago - Everything seemed fine

But I noticed a "problem" with the numeric pad - I never used it for the "numeric" facilities, but only used the "navigation" facilities (using the arrow keys and the Delete key) - I used that since the beginning of Windows, some 40 years ago !
But with Windows 11, it seemed this did not wok anymore

I thought it was a keyboard problem ... and bought a new one !

But the problem is the same with the new keyboard ! So, I assume the problem is within Windows 11

Did I miss something ? Is there a way to "fix" this problem and come back to the previous behaviour ?

Thanks for your help

Have a good day

Can you describe the exact problem? I'm running Windows 11 with a Logitech keyboard and the numeric keypad functions as I would expect; types numbers when I press NUM LOCK and moves the cursor with arrow keys when NUM LOCK is not engaged. What are you seeing?

Thanks for you answer
I use Logitech keyboards (ancient and new)
With NUM LOCK ON, I can enter numbers
With NUM LOCK OFF, nothing happens when I press an w key or the Delete key - I tried to move the cursor inside some text (MS Word, NotePad) but the cursor does not move

Hmmm....I am not having that issue. A quick Internet search shows a couple of hits on fixing Windows 11 numeric keypad issues by turning off mouse keys. Go into Settings -> Accessibility -> Mouse -> Mouse keys.

Is it shut off?
