Process to return Surface Pro - format, clean or diskpart?

I'm returning the Surface Pro 9 that I purchased.

Any advice how to restore ssd to original state?

Thanks for any advice.

Clean install Windows 11 if you can perform full format or execute Clean All to delete all data on SSD.

No data needs saving.

Want send back in same condition where you fill in your location, language and Windows begins to install.

In other words, the same condition when I took it out of the box.

I think you can do this by clean installation and power off your computer where it asks for these information.

I still recommend using the software that came with the surface Pro if you still have it.

I've owned several Microsoft Surface Pro computers that I've given to others. I simply choose to "Reset PC" and then choose the option "Remove Everything". Everything I had on the PC is wiped clean. The person getting the PC goes through the setup just as if they have a new PC of their own. It works perfectly!
