so i received a 2 actor text when I was not trying to sign into my ms account. Looking at sign in activity I saw lots of failed sign in attempts from around the world.

I changed my sign in email address using an alias and added windows passwordless sign in with 2 factor.

My question is this: when I went to sign into my microsoft account, there was already an name in the sign in field. It said "Jamon@microsoft.com" Does this mean Someone with that name tried to sign into my account using my pc? Seems impossible as I live alone. and I doubt I was hacked.

That email address means the interloper was an MS employee [or an MS software] called Jamon.
Many of us got told by MS emails last year to change our email account passwords because there had been successful logins that were identified as not being us.
It was months later when MS were forced to admit that the false logins were by a piece of their software that had been supposed to survey MSAccounts not log into them.

All the best,
Denis
