Hello everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I have a concern, and maybe I am being a bit paranoid - which is likely. I have HWiNFO on my system. As I was reading through the sensor readouts, I noticed that my OS SSD (drive one listed under my system specs) is rated as having 81% life left to it according to the app. This made me a bit... nervous? Maybe that isn't the right word, but I've been thinking about it. Would you consider getting a new SSD to replace it with, or would you forget about it and go on using it?
Screenshot of HWiNFO is included.
For context, this is a new-to-me system I purchased off of eBay. I've had it for a few days now. Very fast, very responsive. Awesome little machine for what I do. I've always had really good luck with Dell systems. I have had two Latitude models and three Precisions now, and the quality has always been quite solid. My M4800 is still kicking. My mother uses it for Facebook, the internet, and Zoom sessions. I always go with a system that is three to four years old, as they can be had at good prices and still perform quite admirably as long as you aren't expecting them to run triple-A games at max resolution, which isn't what I bought this for. I use it mainly for some indie games from Steam, internet browsing, LibreOffice work, and occasionally for things at my job.
