Question Bluetooth conflicts

I have 2 sets of earbuds - they sit in their cases next to each other. When I take one out to use it, will that affect the other one still in its case? As in NO CONNECTION!! Both have been working fine and then they stop. I suspect the proximity to each other is not a problem but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Bluetooth is a short-range Wireless and will usually recognize any device within range. I see it when I have 2 or more BT mice on my worktable plus a keyboard and cellphone if it's BT is on. Generally there's tino conflict if devices are not showing as Connected. They sometimes will show as Paired but aren't functional until Connected.

OK that helps. So I should not connect both of them at the same time, correct? I am as usual baffled by the lack of connection - it is so sporadic. I am currently listening on one that a few hours ago would not connect. My other pair absolutely refuses to cooperate. Thanks again.
