One of my favorite software programs is going thru some changes.
I though it deserved its own thread.

Rainmeter

October 6, 2026 - 4.5.27 - Revision 3934

This is a small maintenance release before the upcoming Rainmeter 5.0 release. Please note that Rainmeter 5.0 will require a recent 64-bit version of Windows 10 (version 1903 or later) or Windows 11. Rainmeter 4.5.27 is the last version to support older Windows versions and 32-bit systems.

  • FixedLua Scripting: Fixed several instances of memory corruption and crashes.
  • FixedWebParser / NowPlaying / RecycleManager Measures: Fixed potential freezing/crashes by improving thread-safety.

The test version 5.0 can be obtained here: Rainmeter 5.0 Build with more documentation about it here.
The latest 4.5 can be obtained here: Rainmeter 4.5.27.

Just updated my machines to Rainmeter 4.5.27 and looking forward to trying 5.0 now when it releases publicly. Been using this little app over several years now with various skins over the years.
