Hi,

Trying to get Ramdisk installed and working and at same time have the cpuz139_x64.sys driver accepted by Windows 11.

Is there a way to do this without shutting off Memory Integrity? Make an exception??

Thank you

Also I looked all over my hard drive for cpuz139_x64.sys and can not find it at all anyhow.

Thanks

Whose ramdisk? Romex Primocache had this issue but fixed it in an update - it was complicated to implement without impacting performance from what I hear. I assume their ramdisk also works with memory integrity now.

I believe it gets loaded into your local temp file whenever the application that uses it gets launched.

Its Radeon Ramdisk ver 4.4RC36 by Dataram. Installed an old license I was able to transfer to my new Windows 11 machine. Tracked down the cpuz sys driver to a dll file they must extract at run time. Software hasn't been updated in a while yet they still sell licenses for it though only up to windows 10. I actually got a 2nd license and when not work was able to get a refund. Still would like to get this driver on a whitelist or something. Submitted the dll to microsoft as I don't know how to extract the driver from a dll.

Thanks

It looks like it was last updated 2016. Sorry, not a big surprise that it doesn't work with Windows 11 memory integrity. You won't get it on the white list because it isn't compatible with memory integrity and there is nothing Microsoft can do about it. You might try Primo Ramdisk from Romex:

Version 6.6.0 (2022-03-15)

  • Support Windows 11.
  • Support Windows Core Isolation.
  • Support detecting Invisible Memory beyond 64GB on 64-bit Windows.
  • [Ultimate/Server Edition] Be NUMA-Aware. How to enable NUMA-Aware.
  • Other minor improvements.

Or Primo Cache, which is (boot persistent) caching at the disk block level rather than at the file level .

Yes the CPUZ driver gets loaded at runtime.
