RAMMAP not working fully

So I only just ran RAMMAP (Sysinternals) and found its not showing usage of any processes on the Processes tab, it shows details on everything else.

Version 1.52 & 1.60 report the same. I know it used to work in 10...

Perhaps something on your system. But I also cleanly installed Windows 11 on my machine, and it's working perfectly fine here.

I misread - same behavior here.

It also took a lot longer than normal to actually load, as well.

I reported it on Feedback hub since Sysnative are owned by Microsoft now.

Strange that Process Explorer can track ram usage but not rammap. They made by same people.

Not really. Mark is a very, very clever programmer, and may have had different objectives when coding the utilities.

But you also have to realize that PE has been updated more recently, while RAMMAP is almost 10 months old, now.

RAMMAP never ever worked for me, I have WSH disabled and PowerShell removed, still it did not work even after a clean install.

I am still using version 16.32 of Process Explorer which came out last year, I didn't know there was a new one. I can't see anything missing in it, but I will grab updated versions and see if there are any.

If you like using more than a couple of the SysInternals App, use their live links.

If you prefer to have them on your hard drive / USB Flash Device, there is a great little software called WSCC (Windows System Control Center) that I've used for years that downloads architecture specific / independent (your choice) versions of all the SysInternals apps, plus Nir Sofer's NirSoft apps, and a few others (from Michael Multi, some generic Open Source apps) and puts it all available to you in a single interface.

It's free for private use, and doesn't nag you (or didn't use to - I registered my copy a couple of years ago - basement bargain for $10), though in About it does say unregistered, but it is hands down 100x times easier to have that on a USB drive (and on my desktop, in its own folder, both via the portable version) than having to make sure your Internet connection is working to use the live versions of either SysInternals or NirSoft apps.

One thing - if you do use it and grab all the utilities from NirSoft, you'll need a Defender exception for that folder (I always make it for the main WSCC folder, but you can do it per app / per NirSoft repository folder) because Nir Sofer has some apps that can reveal passwords from things like OST files, and such, which Defender flags as malicious / potentially malicious. Which is technically true - in the wrong hands, those apps could be used for malicious purposes. But, then again, so could Windows itself.

If you don't want ot use it, no worries- just thought I'd mention it.
