Solved Recent file list disappeared from jump list (perhaps related to 11/15 updates)

The "recent files" option on my jump lists - I use this all the time if adding attachments to gmail - seems to have disappeared since 11/15, when the most-recent Windows updates were applied to my machine.

The "show recent files" options are correctly set in my personalization and other settings, and nothing I've read in tutorials here, or stuff I've researched online, has fixed the problem.

Again, the recent files were showing for a long time, and stopped recently, and I am blaming something I got in the 11/15 Windows updates.

This has been a recurring issue for some since Windows 7.

After I posted this, I had tried some of those suggestions, and noticed that my recents were there - in a spot I'd not expected - if I clicked "home" from the jump list. This was on my work computer, and with it being the US Thanksgiving weekend now, I'll not be back at my office until Monday. Thanks though!

Marking the thread as solved - the recent files now show up if I click "home" from a jump list.
