Ok so I have a laptop and I am learning music via zoom distance learning.My current inbuilt sound is not really up to the task

So I am looking for a plug and play device that allows me to both record myself but also allows me to hear my tutor - 2 way input, output - sorry if I sound pedantic

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced device that will do the job
