Recommended transcription apps

I had seen recommendations for Whisper, but I see that it is gone. I have limited need for a transcription service, and would like to find one that is recommended and pay for what you need or free.

I would appreciate your recommendations.

My first source would be to talk to folks I know who work in medical offices, many have people either working for them or contracted/freelancing doing medical record transcriptions. We have one in our church that does it and I have a client that does it.

Thank you Berton. I just need one of the AI apps. It is a recording of me, and I'd like to edit an AI transcript for accuracy rather than trying to listen to the audio and type it all in.

Hi Judy,

Do you use Microsoft 365 ?
It can be done in Word. You load your file into Word and transcribe.
I just tested it and it works.
