I noticed today that entries for Microsoft 365 and Onenote in about one and a half dozen different languages have appeared in installed apps, all installed on 24 September. This is nothing that I installed - looking at update history for Windows Update, it appears to have been part of what is shown as Click-to-Run Update Support, which is the only update installed on that date, and that wasn't an update that I selected to install.
As I have neither MS Office nor Onenote installed (I've never used either), why has all this crap suddenly appeared? I used Bulk Crap Uninstaller to uninstall all 30-odd apps, though even using that was a pain in the arse, as the uninstalls can't be run silently - for each app you have to click "Uninstall" (or whatever the translation is in the particular language version), wait for the uninstall to complete, and then click "Finish" (or translation) for the next uninstall to start.
I also can't see any way to uninstall Click-to-Run Update Support. How do I do that? For the time being I've gone into services and stopped and disabled the Microsoft Office ClickToRun Service.
