OS HD Firmware Issue

WIN11 HOME Version 26H2
I have an issue with the firmware for my OS hard drive. The desktop is working perfectly with no issues, but when I examine the drive through Device Manager, I get the error message noted in the attachments.

I tried to fix this: when I attempt to update the driver, I get a message that I already have the latest driver.

This is more of an annoyance than an operating issue. How do I fix this?

The case fan and CPU cooler were after purchase upgrades...the i7 cpu runs hot and the OE solution can best be described as marginal when CPU intensive apps are used.
ALSO added VRM and SSD passive heatsinks.

Don't you have a DELL utility that handles stuff like that?
A utility that updates drivers, firmware, BIOS... etc.?

Google AI says this....

The Dell, Inc. NVMe Firmware Driver Update (Version 61.91.25.26) error usually occurs when Windows Update attempts to push a generic capsule firmware update to your solid-state drive (SSD), but it fails to apply. This often shows up in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark and a Code 10 (This device cannot start) error under the firmware tab. [1, 2, 3]
To resolve this firmware mismatch and clear the error, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Identify Your SSD Model
Because version 61.91.25.26 is a generic package distributed through the Microsoft Update Catalog, it may conflict with your exact SSD hardware. [1]
    • Right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager.
    • Expand the Disk drives section.
    • Note the exact model name of your NVMe SSD (e.g., Kioxia, SK Hynix, Western Digital, or Samsung).

2. Install the Official Vendor Firmware
Instead of relying on Windows Update, force the update using Dell's specific software or direct executable:
    • Open the Dell SupportAssist or Dell Command | Update application preloaded on your XPS 8940.
    • Scan for updates and look for any storage or NVMe firmware items.
    • Alternatively, navigate to the official Dell Support Page, input your system's Service Tag, and check under the Drivers & Downloads section manually.
    • Filter by the Storage category and download the standalone firmware installer specific to your SSD model. Install it and restart your PC.

3. Clear the Faulty Windows Update Cache
If Device Manager remains stuck with the failing 61.91.25.26 package, you need to wipe the pending capsule update:
    • Open Device Manager, expand Firmware, right-click the failing NVMe firmware node, and select Uninstall Device. (If prompted to "Attempt to remove the driver for this device", check the box).
    • Open the Start menu, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator.
    • Stop the update services by running these commands one by one:
      cmd
      net stop wuauserv
      net stop bits
      Use code with caution.
    • Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download. Delete all files and folders inside this directory.
    • Go back to your command prompt and restart the services:
      cmd
      net start wuauserv
      net start bits
      Use code with caution.
    • Restart your computer. Upon reboot, Windows will flush the bad capsule update and correctly re-enumerate the SSD hardware.

If/when you get all this sorted out... DISABLE drivers included in Windows Update...
