If I happen to get a BSD, do I need to have both, the recovery and the boot disk (USB)

No you do not need both. Just make sure you can boot from the one you have.

Personally, I haven't made a recovery drive in years. Every time a new version of the OS or a major feature update is released I download its iso and create an installation USB.
The recovery disk allows you to use certain windows tools to repair a system but that's all. An installation usb can do that and more (clean install or repair install as well as all tools available on a recovery drive.)

I have not tried to make a recovery USB yet, in your opinion would it be simpler for me to create an installation USB.
I have no experience with issues like fixing problems from a PC.

How do I run a V2 log? I should mention, that I did not have had a BSOD.
It is a new PC, I just wanted to find out if I needed to crate a boot USB.
