Solved Reflect Rescue Media

Any suggestions on what to include/exclude when creating rescue media? WinPE or RE, and other options? I've always have just gone with the defaults, but I was wondering if I may be missing something that should be included.

I make mine like this... using WinPE.
Because MS keeps fooling around with Secure Boot, I need to re-make it every now and then.

When rebuilding the Macrium bootable Media, follow the instructions in the link above, to "remove" the current WinPE ADK, then just follow the pic below.

WinRe is the preferred default mechanism as it does not require any additional downloads.

Its's primary advantage is that it enables backups to be made over wifi (can be turned off) which is handy for small storage tablets//laptops.

WinPE is older and requires up to 1GB of additional files downloaded. There are a number of versions and later versions may not run happily on older pcs.

In general, the other main option is whether you include Bitlocker support or not. Either WinRe or WinPE can handle Bitlocker.

On the end, I would advise using the default WinRe only reverting to WinPE if you get issues.

Thank you all for the responses. I'll stay with WinRe as the default. Was able to boot safely from the USB. May actually try and do a restore just to be sure.
