Remaking 3rd Party Icons into Fluent Icons
After being inspired by the
Custom Icons for Windows 11 Thread , I thought I could try replicating the Fluent design of Windows 11's icons to try and make custom icons for some of the other apps I use like Paint.net, WinRAR, Notepad++, etc. You can see some of my results above. It's a gradual process and I'm not perfect at following the Fluent guidelines but I hope I can improve in the future.
I use Paint.net to make the icons:
Then I use IcoFX 1.6.4 (The last free version) to turn the .png's into .ico files:
I haven't made too many, but if you'd like them, you can find them in my
Google Drive Folder Here . If I do make any more Icons (which I definitely plan to), I'll make sure to share them here from time to time. I'd also appreciate it if you guys could also share some of the custom app icons you've made, Fluent or not!
