How to move network/volume/power icons into taskbar corner overflow?

I looked in Taskbar Settings and there is not an option for either or both of them to sit in the ^ overflow. Clicking either brings up the mini-settings pop-up, and right clicking either brings up its options. (Desktop here on UPS, so no power icon).
IMO, slightly klutsy and not very intuitive.

For the taskbar, you can just change the display scaling.

Yes, but that unfortunately changes the scaling for other things as well. I only want to reduce the height of the taskbar. It can be done in 10.

This is a comment from another person on another site. Thought it would be pertinent to post in case anyone does the Taskbar Resize. I tried it and this is true. Just be aware............................
"One small issue I see with resizing the taskbar - the network / volume / date & time icons in the far right corner don't seem to resize. they seem to settle the bottom of the bar with the date nearly being cut in half."
