My father has recently returned home to Asia. Earlier I've setup (2) PCs there for him to use. He has memory problems (prescription drugs in the past) so it's difficult to say the least to help him sometimes.

I think one of the PCs (Intel NUC) has reset and automatically applied an update. It's already WIndows 11 If I'm not mistaken.

There are a sequence of screens which needs to be navigated after an update. Can someone direct me to a website or video that might show all those screens?

Next time I go there in a couple months I plan to disable all windows updates.

Thanks in advance.

It most likely is the first screen from here, which they can click on remind me in 3 days.

I would not recommend that, what I would recommend instead is to turn off the windows welcome experience:

Or go even further:

I would also install and use chrome remote desktop or teamviewer so you can remote into their pc to help them out when "issues" occur.

Yes, I've used Teamviewer. But not yet at the desktop -- so that's not an option.

But this Windows welcome experience -- that could be what I'm looking to disable. With that said...trying to find some walkthrough of it now.

Thanks.

Thats not true, with teamviewer or chrome remote desktop if you restart the machine you can be remoted in even at the logon screen as soon as windows boots up.

If you mean about this specific instance right now, then yeah I get what you mean and you will have to do a video call with google meet or facetime or something to help them navigate through it
