Remove ENG UK and make it only show ENG on taskbar

On Windows 10 when I clicked ENG i had 2 keyboard layouts. English (United Kingdom) United Kingdom and English (United States) United Kingdom. Now on Windows 11 I still have those 2, but on the taskbar it displays ENG UK, which I don't want. How can i make it just show ENG on the taskbar instead?

Right now I have English (United Kingdom) language installed and removed the English (United States) keyboard layout and only United Kingdom keyboard layout installed. If i was remove the English (United Kingdom) keyboard layout would it fix it? Are you allowed to do that and have 0 keyboard layouts

So this is what i see on my screen, I have English (United Kingdom) language pack installed with a English (United Kingdom) layout. But on the taskbar flyout it says I have English (United States) keyboard layout aswell. If somehow I removed the English (United States) layout would my taskbar show ENG instead of showing ENG UK at the bottom.

Use option 1 to make sure the English (United States) layout is added in Settings.

Make sure Preferred languages has English (United States) selected.

Next, you can try to remove the English (United Kingdom) layout.

Ok i have done that I don't see the language bar on the taskbar now it is gone, I know how to get it back but it's not showing

It's normal to no longer see the language bar when you only have one language or keyboard layout available.

I don't believe changing the search box text on the taskbar like below is possible in Windows 11 anymore.

Oh i just meant it as a example, how you could change things from the taskbar with registry editor. But i think i'm stuck with ENG UK displaying on my taskbar for now. I just wish it didn't show the country like on previous Windows and only show ENG

I no longer have my old computer—the one with the Ryzen 5500, GeForce 1650 Super, and 16GB of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM.
My issue is not primarily about having 2 keyboard layouts. on Windows 10 I had 2 keyboard layouts English (United Kingdom) and English (United States), but on the taskbar it only displayed ENG. Now on Windows 11 it displays ENG UK which I don't want. For other languages like POR you won't see for example POR US or POR UK only POR. This happens to people using the English language pack

For futher clarification I want the language indicator on the taskbar to only display ENG (circled in red). I know it's possible on Windows 11 because I have seen some people with it
