Solved Repetitive crashes with Livekernelevent 141 error

Hi, my screen doesnt turn blue but grey instead, hitting the power button to lock and then unlock brings it back to normal.
i have reinstalled windows.
removed graphics drivers with DDU and reinstalled them.


heres a copy of one of these failures dump files from reliability history (it is also attached along with the v2 dump)

i navigated to the path you gave me and zipped the file i found here : Google drive link

im not sure about the last instruction 141,1a8,1b8 im i supposed to find dumps of those specific incidents if so how ?

i have found some folders C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports that arent the huge 3Gb file maybe those are what your talking about im not sure, anyhow i have also attached them to this post and also put them in this drive folder

i hope i didnt miss anything out because i really appreciate the help, thanks.

Hi @zbook , i suspected a graphics issue and reinstalled my drivers about 5 times at this point.
even yesterday i had the same gray screen about 4- 5 times. i was using it fine until i got up to make some coffee, came back and found my screen gray.
this time i didnt see anything in the Reliability History about kernel errors, expect Dell software or intel software crashing.

11:11 AM is me holding the power button until the laptop shut. 11:09 is when the screen turned gray 1746789927264.webp

is there anything in the dumps that hints to what happens right before the driver missbehaves ?

ive read about increasing the TDR delay and disabling Multi-Plane Overlay both being possible culprits (solutions didnt work for me)
so it makes me think that there is something that its trying to do and failing at.

anyhow, i will reinstall again, disable fast startup and install those required drivers listed in the important information and let you know if this happens again. im running out of ideas to understand the root cause.
i appreciate it.

@zbook Actually i just realized this darned driver came out in 15 Apr 2025 , pretty sure my troubles began somewhere after that.
im guessing my system updated my drivers at some point, i will roll back to an older version for now and see what happens.
