RESTARTING the computer takes several attempts

I am on Windows 11 25H2build 26200.7840 with a Dell Optrex 3000 PC.

The system never boots up or restarts on the 1st attempt after clicking Restart or Shutdown. It takes sometimes 3 attempts or more and often it even shuts off automatically after the 1st attempt. I also reported on another post that un the dual boot screen only the default OS boots up( whichever it is). The other one does not respond. I posted this problem separately because I was not too sure the two problems are connected.

More than likely this issue is connected to all your issues with dual boot. Did you turn off fast startup. I believe I saw you had 3 installations of Windows 11. one on one drive and two on another. Now you have this thread.

How do I turn off fast start up? Yes, on Disk 1 there is a 3rd OS. I don't know how it got there. It never boots. It is probably a faulty fresh installation which went awry. May be I should delete it.
