Good Day to all
I have two disks in my laptop - one 128 GB sata m.2 SDD for the windows 11 OS and boot and the other 2.5 HDD for file storage
I imaged all the partitions on the LiteOn 128 GB system SSD (which i do every 3 months as a precaution) using macrium (image file verified successfully). There were three UEFI, unallocated and Windows.

After the imaging i have replaced my keyboard added 8 GB RAM to the motherboard in the vacant SODIMM slot and my battery slot is vaccant as i had to remove the battery and send the same for replacement. This means my image was made before these three hardware changes.

All worked fine for last 21 days (battery replacement ; battery compartment still empty)

Yesterday, I bought a new Samsung EVO 500 GB NVMe m.2 ssd. I initialized the disk as GPT and restored the system image to the new ssd leaving the additional space in the windows partition.

Now my laptop fails to boot into windows- the manufacturers logo comes up and then i get a blue screen with the error "a required device isn't connected or cannot be accessed. The older 128 GB LiteOn m.2 boots fine but not the new 500 GB samsung evo though they are practically clones except for the additional space.

What can i do ? I do not know much about TPM and BIOS but have some knowledge about rebuilding bcd etc
But am doing nothing until i receive advice from fellowmen here

Find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB).

On a working windows computer create a bootable Widows 11 Media Creation Tool (MCT) (Windows 11 iso).

On the problematic computer detach all disk drives except the problematic drive.

Boot the problematic computer and report the error code and message.

Reboot to the MCT.

Open Windows RE > troubleshoot > command prompt > type:

Code:
notepad
notepad
bcdedit
bcdedit | find "osdevice"

(if bcdedit displays an error then type: )
Code:
c:
dir
d:
dir

Code:
diskpart
lis dis
lis vol
sel dis 0
det dis
lis par
sel par 1
det par
sel par 2
det par
sel par 3
det par
sel par 4
det par
sel par 5

Copy the commands with results to notepad (ctrl +a) (ctrl +c) > (ctrl +v) > save to a flash drive > move the flash drive to a working computer > post a share link into this thread
or
take pictures > post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

message sounds like a bcd error. Probably easy to fix with bcdboot command.

from your working installation on the 128gb open an admin cmd prompt and type:

bcdboot ?:\windows /s $:

(replace ? with the letter of the os partition on the new 500gb disk and replace $ with the letter of the esp partition on the new 500gb disk.

then press enter)
