I can't ... my code is very simple and doesn't have this revert option ... working on it ...
but I want to find and remove that part of the code which causes this problem!

Something tried to disable Recall and triggered a known 24H2 servicing bug.

The easy fix is by switching Recall on & off, so Windows ends up re-registering WindowsAppRuntime.CBS.

Hummm I think I know where the problem comes from...
Tested this script on official iso and it ran without any issues.
But the modified iso has this issue! let me create another iso and test it again.
Thanks for mentioning "WindowsAppRuntime.CBS" I know what I have done :)

This is why some Appx packages are marked "IsFramework" from Get-AppxPackage.
the problem didn't come from my script.
I created another iso with my preset in NTLite and then added my script to the image.
here is the result:

1752651669858.webp

everything's working fine.
even after running my registry keys in windows environment, everything's working fine without any problem.
but when I add those keys to NTLite, Windows explorer will not function properly and freezes sometimes.
What should I do?
I attached my preset
my registry keys can be found here. they are same as my script.

You probably broke Windows install by disabling so many services.
I have two scenarios:
1- create iso with this preset without adding reg files to NTLite + run script and reg keys after installation -> pass
2- integrate reg files (HKLM only) to previous iso -> fail (installs without any issue but explorer dies after first restart)

disabled services are identical in both scenarios!
that's why I can't find the cause of problem.
The only thing I know is integrating those reg files into installation media causes this problem.

some reg files do the same thing as NTLite has in its options.
for example NTLite has an option to set settings like "show hidden files". I have a reg file that does the same thing. maybe integrating both of them at the same time causes this during the modifying process of install.wim

I'm going to test this scenario:
instead of integrating reg files with NTLite, I changed every setting I want in NTlite and then added those HKLM reg files to post-setup process before OOBE and HKCU reg files to after-setup part. (third scenario)

NTLite for the most part doesn't allow you to do dumb things. Except when you import your own reg files.
I'm working on my reg files. first, I found that I should remove any reg key about services. some of them had commands to disable some services. removed those lines. windows installed successfully and explorer is working fine. I removed those lines in my scripts as well. I will publish them on my github.

Conclusion: Do not add any .reg file to NTLite containing keys for disabling services or set them as manual. just use "services" part in NTLite.

let's test other scripts to learn more! 🤪

on the install with broken explorer, run this in PowerShell as Admin then reboot.

Code:
Get-AppxPackage -allusers *Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.CBS* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

Some Windows services are required for a proper installation. They can be disabled on a live system.

After WinPE Setup exits, your PC reboots into a live Windows image. For a non-sysprepped image, Window has additional steps in specialize and OOBE passes to carry out. When to apply designed changes is an important factor in imaging.

If you disable services too early, it can break the install. NTLite is a tool for implementing your edits, but you're ultimately still responsible for carefully picking those changes.

NTLite has special handling for WindowsAppRuntime.CBS, in regards to Copilot removals.

But if you're free-lancing off a manual list of services, then it can't protect you from yourself. 🤷‍♂️
