Solved Running insider but can't change to dev channel.

When I go to Windows Updates...Windows insider, I get this message

I select optional diagnostic data 'on' but the setting does not stick and I get the first message again when I go back to Windows insider.

I merged the reg file in option 2 and rebooted. I went to Windows Update and am now installing 23493.1000. Will update this thread when it has installed.

If I update Ghost Spectre Modded Edition using Windows Insider Preview options, will I lose modifications done by Ghost Spectre - I cannot find any documentation of supporting insider channels for Ghost Spectre Editions. Thanks in advance for your responses and suggestions

Make an image backup of current installation, do updates, try it.

If any issues restore image backup.
