I have to access CAC-enabled sites and in Internet Explorer to access encrypted e-mails in Outlook Web Access (OWA). That was because Microsoft never upgraded their S/MIME extension for Edge...and Chrome and Firefox have never made one at all as far as I know. However, with upgrade to Windows 11 I now no longer have Internet Explorer. In IE mode (in Edge) it appears to be just for viewieng and does not come with access. For example, if I got to a CAC-required site in IE mode it just freezes because it doesn't appear to be linked up to Windows Security to prompt you for a CAC certificate (make sense?) Most CAC sites work but I would really like to retain the ability to read S/MIME encrypted OWA e-mails...I just don't know how to do it now. Recommendations? Thanks.
