This tutorial will show you how to use "Find on page" to search for a word or phase in the Copilot app in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered digital assistant designed to help you with a range of tasks and activities.
When you sign in to Copilot with your Microsoft account Copilot uses your Microsoft account to provide personalized assistance and access by default to a wide range of features. For example, saving and syncing your Copilot chat history on all devices you sign in to Copilot with the same Microsoft account.
You can use the Find on page tool in the Copilot app to search for a word or phrase within text in your conversation with Copilot.
Here's How:
1 Open the Copilot app on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
2 In a conversation (chat) with Copilot, perform an action below to open "Find on page": (see screenshot below)
- Press the Ctrl + F keys.
- Click/tap on the Settings and more (Alt+F) (3 dots) button on the toolbar, click/tap on More tools, and click/tap on Find on page.
3 Click/tap on the Show find options button on the "Find on page" bar. (see screenshot below)
4 Turn on or off (default) Match case and/or Match whole word for what you want. (see screenshot below)
5 Type a word or phrase you want to search from within the conversation (chat). (see screenshot below)
6 Click/tap on the ˄ Previous result (Ctrl+Shift+G) or ˅ Next result (Ctrl+G) buttons to search up and down. (see screenshot below)
7 Click/tap on Close (X) when finished searching to close the "Find on page" bar. (see screenshot below)
