I don't trust it. Sometimes I try it with a query that I believe is too complex for a Google search. But it's usually futile. If I keep asking questions to refine the search, Copilot often ends up with "please wait a moment" (maybe not an exact quote). I've never received an additional response after that. Copilot is a politician?

My current laptop came with a Copilot key. I had my doubts about whether it would be of any use or value. It had three styles to choose from, (1) Creative, (2) Balanced, and (3) Precise. I chose Precise and I've found it to be accurate and helpful. My questions have been mostly technical or Windows 11 related, and so far, I've not found Copilot to be inaccurate or not helpful. I've found myself actually using the Copilot key quite often.

I have a possibly better suggestion. Depending what she uses the computer for, you have a few options.

What does she actually do on the pc?

But they will randomly flag you for commercial use even when you are not. So It isn't really free anyway.
